Varsi Art&Lab is pleased to invite you on Tuesday, July 5, from 6 to 10 p.m., to the “Residencies Group Show,” which will bring together works made over the past five months of residencies by 108, Alberonero, Borondo, Canemorto, R. Alfano and Tellas.
Each of these artists has worked in our space together with 56Fili, She.Lab and Base/34, providing and combining skills, knowledge, techniques, and visions to create unique and serial screen-printed pieces, artist’s books, and editorial productions, as well as design objects.
The artist residency is one of the main goals of the new Varsi Lab, and the desire to create these moments of encounter and collaboration moves from the conviction that offering artists a place where they can experiment and engage with artisans in the field can be a fundamental phase in the development and deepening of each one’s technical and aesthetic research.
On display will be 108’s peculiar shapes, Alberonero’s study of color, Borondo’s juxtapositions and painterly strokes, Canemorto’s controversial expressionism, Tellas’ aesthetic and material research, and Alfano’s imagery with childlike features.
All accompanied by DJ sets by Victor Kwality and BobThaFunk and craft beers by Latta.
