Nico Jacoby (1988), is a Hamburg native and currently living in the Amsterdam area. With a strong interest in art, design, and underground culture he graduated in visual communication at the Design Factory in Hamburg.

After stints in graphic design, art direction, and music, he transitioned into tattooing in 2015. His tattoo art plays with simple lines and forms, closely following the shape of the body. Through the repetition of lines he creates various images.

This creates a distinct style, but deeply grounded in historical pratices. In 2020 he co-founded the studio “Mosel Mosel” together with Emiel Steenhuizen. Next to tattooing, he works on painting and photography, exploring new artistic frontiers.
