ALBERONERO – GNOLE / PERFORMANCE at Varsi

La performance deriva dal progetto artistico “Campo” di Luca Boffi (Alberonero), la cui esperienza umana e artistica vissuta tra il 2019 e 2021 ha portato l’artista a entrare in simbiosi con un campo di duecentonovanta pioppi, sino al loro taglio. Questi anni hanno trovato espressione nel progetto editoriale Caro campo. Diario di lavoro – Workbook (vincitore della XI Edizione dell’Italian Council, 2022), che osserva e tiene traccia dei mutamenti naturali, attraverso la pratica artistica e la scrittura.

GNOLE nasce da un processo di impersonificazione, frutto delle diverse capacità espressive dei suoi autori. In questa performance, Luca Boffi, Frenetik&Orang3 e Studio Cliché si associano per creare un viaggio emozionale e poetico che si manifesta attraverso un intenso mosaico di parole, suoni, pixel e luci.

Il dialogo fisico del corpo di Luca Boffi con la scena è quello meravigliato di un bambino, mentre Frenetik&Orang3 sintetizzano i pensieri poetici trasformandoli in mantra e suoni incantatori che richiamano le voci della natura.

Gnole è parola che si fa materia, è l’artista che si fa corpo anche attraverso le sonorizzazioni e le proiezioni luci e video, dando vita a un lavoro poetico, propriamente narrativo, ma sotto una nuova forma. La performance artistica segue l’immediatezza del momento attraverso un sempre mutevole spettro di azioni che, interagendo tra loro, costruiscono una regia sempre in evoluzione. Gnole ambisce a divenire entità unica, composta da un collettivo artistico in continua espansione, in cui si fondono gli scambi di sperimentazioni.

Varsi costruisce la scena dove gli artisti trovano il loro spazio per esprimersi, completata dalla scenografia inclusiva della video installazione che apre la via a un ibrido suggestivo di linguaggi in cui Studio Cliché crea un sistema arterioso vibrante e luminoso, che dà risalto ai contenuti dei due protagonisti: da una parte l’anima con i suoni e musica di Frenetik&Orang3 e dall’altra il corpo e la poesia di Luca Boffi. 

L’opera Gnole racconta una storia d’amore coinvolgente e autentica con la terra, il fango, i pioppi e la pianura, esplorando la relazione profonda tra l’uomo e l’ambiente circostante. È un’opera che invita gli spettatori a immergersi in un’esperienza teatrale soprannaturale che, come il paesaggio, può evolversi in infinite mutazioni.

The performance stems from the ‘Campo’ (Field) art project by Luca Boffi (Alberonero), whose human and artistic experience between 2019 and 2021 led the artist to enter into symbiosis with a field of two hundred and ninety poplars, until they were cut down. These years have found expression in the publishing project Caro campo. Diario di lavoro – Workbook (winner of the XI Edition of the Italian Council, 2022), which observes and keeps track of natural changes through artistic practice and writing.

GNOLE was born from a process of impersonation, the result of the different expressive skills of its authors. In this performance, Luca Boffi, Frenetik&Orang3 and Studio Cliché join forces to create an emotional and poetic journey that manifests itself through an intense mosaic of words, sounds, pixels and lights.

The physical dialogue of Luca Boffi’s body with the stage is that of a child in wonder, while Frenetik&Orang3 synthesise poetic thoughts by transforming them into mantras and enchanting sounds that recall the voices of nature.

Gnole is word that becomes matter, it is the artist who becomes body through sound, light and video projections, giving life to a poetic work, properly narrative, but in a new form. The performance art follows the immediacy of the moment through an ever-changing spectrum of actions that, interacting with each other, construct an ever-evolving direction. Gnole aspires to become a unique entity, composed of an ever-expanding artistic collective, in which exchanges of experimentation merge.

Varsi constructs the stage where the artists find their space to express themselves, complemented by the inclusive scenography of the video installation that opens the way to an evocative hybrid of languages in which Studio Cliché creates a vibrant and luminous arterial system that emphasises the contents of the two protagonists: on the one hand the soul with the sounds and music of Frenetik&Orang3 and on the other the body and poetry of Luca Boffi.

The opera Gnole tells an engaging and authentic love story with the earth, the mud, the poplars and the plain, exploring the profound relationship between man and his environment. It is a work that invites viewers to immerse themselves in a supernatural theatrical experience that, like the landscape, can evolve into infinite mutations.
