“fontanesi is an Instagram account opened in 2012 with a large following.

Behind the anonymity and the extreme synthesis with which the project is described there is actually much more: an invitation to be amazed by the infinite possibilities that emerge from the encounter between the images and the viewer, showing “reality as it is”.

The numerous collages published in this account, created with the Layout app, stage original and unexpected visual stories and are based on the simple assembly of two halves of photos joined by a clean cut. The unusual, funny, and almost obsessive combinations transmute into images that shape a new everyday life, showing “reality as it is”.”
