L’Open Studio COCCI presenta l’evoluzione artistica di Matteo Giuntini proponendosi di offrire un’esperienza diversificata, che permetterà ai visitatori di connettersi con la distinta prospettiva dell’artista. Nel corso degli anni il suo lavoro si è concentrato sul rapporto viscerale tra l’essere umano, la natura, e il mondo animale, un intreccio che spesso si traduce in bizzarre creature antropomorfe confinanti con il grottesco ed in un’arte che ricerca la sua perpetua mutazione.

COCCI sarà anche l’occasione per raccontare la residenza di Giuntini da Varsi, che ha consentito all’artista di approfondire ed ampliare il suo repertorio artistico tramite l’utilizzo della tecnica serigrafica. Saranno presentate una vasta gamma di opere, tra cui dipinti inediti, lavori su carta, serigrafie e l’omonima serie di monotipi (COCCI).

L’Open Studio, sarà aperto al pubblico dal 16 al 24 febbraio 2024. Opening Venerdì 16 Febbraio dalle 18 alle 22.

COCCI / Open Studio presents the artistic evolution of Matteo Giuntini aiming to offer a diversified experience, which will allow visitors to connect with the artist’s distinct perspective. Over the years his work has focused on the visceral relationship between the human being, nature, and the animal world, an intertwining that often translates into bizarre anthropomorphic creatures bordering on the grotesque and in an art that seeks its perpetual mutation.

COCCI will also be an opportunity to talk about Giuntini’s residency from Varsi, which allowed the artist to deepen and expand his artistic repertoire through the use of the silk-screen technique. A wide range of works will be presented, including previously unpublished paintings, works on paper, serigraphs and the monotype series of the same name (COCCI).

The Open Studio, will be open to the public from 16 to 24 February 2024.Opening Friday 16 February from 6pm to 10pm.
