This work pays tribute to my latest design for the celebration of Valencia’s Fallas and explores the concept of rebirth, which aligns with the profound meaning of a Falla.
The composition clearly reflects a strong influence of Mexican culture and aesthetics, with creatures inhabiting the jungles and various ecosystems of a country with great character. The piece is built around a tree: the tree of life.

Throughout the work, different characters narrate a story of survival. The sloth, that friendly and peaceful animal which has become a global symbol of animal protection, takes on the role of storyteller, guiding us through this narrative. Among the beings accompanying it, the armadillo stands out, symbolizing protection and resistance. It is also associated with new beginnings, as it is one of the first animals to appear after a fire.

Another key character is the Soul Rider, a recurring figure in my works, always present as a guide and protector of all creatures.
The tree of life, like everything in nature, will come to an end. It will burn, just as many species that inhabit our planet will. However, it will be reborn as a memory, and a memory is emotion. I hope that emotion sparks the desire to love and protect nature, the greatest treasure of our planet.
