“I always try to enjoy what I do as much as possible. And in this case, I really wanted to enjoy the screen printing process from the very beginning.” 3TTMAN

To celebrate the first year of residencies in the new Varsi Lab, we hosted French artist Louis Lambert.

3TTMAN, his three-headed, three-point-of-view alter ego, collaborated with screen printer master 56Fili to produce series of unique and limited-edition prints.

“I always try to enjoy what I do as much as possible. And in this case, I really wanted to enjoy the screen printing process from the very beginning.”

In the enjoyment of the creative process 3TTMAN finds the meaning of the final work.

“What I had in mind was to go with the flow. I got here without any idea. I said to myself, ‘Let’s talk to Arturo (Amitrano, 56Fili) and see what we can do with my style and try different techniques that might be useful for my research.’ I came here to have fun in the process. And that’s what happened.”

Guided by 56Fili’s technical skill, 3TTMAN brings to the works created during this residency his particular instinctive gesture that draws inspiration from primitive art and its intuitive power.
